     1) Xinomavro 2015 dry Greek rose, On Special for $12.99 a bottle, by DIOFILI Winery of Siatista,, with 13% alcohol by volume, this has some great color, some fine mouth-feel, charm, pleasure and taste, and great value, too! Come get some, it is chilled and perfect for this heat and humidity now!
 
     2) Cabernet Sauvignon from Western Australia's Margaret River, a 2012, $30.99, with 14% alcohol by volume, I sat outside years agon with winemaker Mike Kerrigan and Chris Piggott, then of the Country Vintners, and we really enjoyed this Cabernet, it was an older vintage, it improves slowly and greatly with age, a fine food wine now that will only get better. What a grand treat!
 
     Celebrating Canada Day early :
 
     1) 2013 Riesling VQA Niagara Penninsula VQA, $16.99, from CAVE SPRING, with 11% alcohol by volume, this is so clean and crisp, lively, bright and refreshing and charming, too! Both Tom the owner and Angelo the winemaker have been here. We love CAVE SPRING : great quality, excellent value. Happy Canada Day all!
 
 
     Celebrating Argentina's Day Of Independence :
 
     1) Extra Brut Rose of Malbec from BUEYYES, in Argentina's Valle de Uco, Mendoza, $19.99 a bottle, nice sipping, a treat, smooth and bright enough, not heavy, a treat with or without food.
 
     2) Gran Reserva Malbec 2010 from Argentina's VIAMONTE Winery in Lujan de Cuyo, On Special for $21.99, regularly $32.99, limited quantities : one of the best Malbecs I have had in years from Argentina, gentle, flushed, warm, toned and tanned and wonderful : everything showing beautifully now : only love in this bottle! Limited quantities!!!
 
 
     Celebrating India's Day of Independence :
 
     1) ' Dindori ' Reserve Shiraz 2013, estate-bottled from SULA Vineyards, from Nashik, India, $21.99 a bottle, with 13.5% alcohol by volume, this is a really fine wine to pair with your meals, it will hold it's own against many a sauce, herb, spice or flavor, best with food : chill 30 minutes so it is refreshing, too!
 
 
     Celebrating the United States' Day Of Independence : 4 Vineyards :
 
     1) Viognier 2013 from BREAUX Vineyards, $23.99 a bottle, with 14.5% alcohol by volume, from Purcellville, VA. , bright, flavorful, a fine dry food multi-dimensional white to enjoy now! ( On Friday we will taste the BREAUX Cabernet Franc red from 5-8PM with Andrew Stover , free, join us. )
 
     2) 2012 dry red blend 'Magnus ', a Bordeaux red blend with added Sangiovese and also Petite Verdot from ARIZONA STRONGHOLD, On Special for $19.99 a bottle, , from Camp Verde, Arizona  : a wine of polish, bright, not heavy, smooth, great for the heat and humidity here, this is a lovely wine, have enjoyed selling it here now for years! Andrew Stover will taste the ' Tazi ' white blend, a 2015, this Friday, 5-8PM, cheers, and join us.
 
     3) ' Les Copains ' 2014 dry white blend from McPHERSON, $18.99 a bottle, with 13.1% alcohol by volume,  a fleshy, fragrant, firm blend of 66% Roussanne, 20% Viognier, and 8% Grenache Blanc : fine for a grill, fine to complement many meals even with all this heat and humidity today! Andrew will taste the ' Les Copains ' Texas McPHERSON Rose on Friday, the 2015, we still have a few bottles chilled of the 2014 On Special for $14.49 a bottle, what a deal, the 2015 will be $16.49 a bottle!
