THIBAUT-JANISSON Brut, VA

We are thrilled to have back here once again for the 2009 holidays the sparkling wine of Claude Thibaut. We just discovered that it was recently served this week at the White House reception for India's Prime Minister. We are especially excited that they picked a local bubbly to serve there and that it's fabulous and only costs $28.49 a bottle here in Cleveland Park N.W. our nation's capitol. We have some this Thanksgiving weekend in case you read this and want to try some sooner than later.

We have sold the THIBAUT-JANISSON Virginia non-vintage brut now for the last three years. We were the first in Washington D.C. to have it I believe? Anyway, it's made from 100% old-vines ( the oldest in Virginia according to Claude ) from a vineyard just outside of Charlottesville. The old vines give a smoother, creamier, more refined and bright as well as elegant taste. It just rides so effortlessly over the contours of one's palate. Trust me and buy one to taste for yourselves.

Claude Thibaut is no stranger to champagne and sparkling wines have started years ago in the champagne district and then moved to Australia to make some, then to California where he made the first IRONHORSE and the first " J ". Then he made the KLUGE Charlottesville sparkling Virginia wine and now his owm. This is his third year and it's only getting better and better.

Come here soon as we may be soon flooded with requests once the word gets out. There's a very limited production still. Cheers and Happy Holidays 2009 ,  TONY
